Shaved Monkey Productions also offers recording and production services, specialising in rhythm tracks for your music & much more. Obi Kaye is also available for drumming workshops and clinics specially tailored for your needs as well as being available for both live performances and studio recordings.

Other services include Drumming workshops and clinics, with Obi Kaye, tailored specially for your needs and for any age. We provide clinics for children and adults, for elementery, middle and high school students as well as college and corporate programs. Special rates are available for non-profit organisations (501{c}{3}) and other community groups. the list of these programs is extensive, and is soon to be posted on another page in this site. Drum lessons, with Obi, are available for all levels and include instruction on the following:
- Conga; one, two, and three drums/ African, Afro-Caribbean, Brasilian etc.
- Bongó; contemporary and Martillo style
- Batá; Yorùbá (Nigeria & Benin) style (Sorry, cuban style is not available but we can direct you to those who do teach this style.)
- Cajon; Afro-Peruvian & flamenco styles
- Dumbek/ Darbuka; North African/ Middle Eastern percussion styles
- Deff/ Tar/ Bendir; also North African/ Middle Eastern percussion styles
Finally, we offer drum and artifact restorations in wood, skin, metal and other materials (you will need to contact us for a list of services and fees) and will soon be publicising the "Èsù rescue mission, a specialised clinic for the care and preservation of African religious artifacts and "adoption services" please e-mail or call us for further details...
